in the last 25 years by a group ofLos Angeles Times writers and editors with two criteria: "The movie had to communicate some inherent truth about the L.A. experience, and only one film per director. Alex Cox also directed "Sid and Nancy".

The films runs 92 minutes
Other films were 'Devil with a Blue Dress' (1995). 'He Walked by Night' (1948) first starring role for the LAPD, and Jack Webb, supporting actor, lead to Dragnet and 'The Crimson Kimono' (1959) with Little Tokyo as the backdrop.
